Aurora's Eye Films

Aurora’s Eye Films is an independent documentary studio based in Auroville, India, founded by filmmaker Serena Aurora. We create character-driven documentaries exploring people, place, social change and stories often left outside the headlines. Our current feature documentaries include The Center Within, exploring the Matrimandir, Auroville and the search for human unity; Breaking the Silence, examining child sexual abuse, healing and the courage to speak; and Karsha Nuns, following Buddhist nuns from Zanskar through a journey of cultural exchange, education and environmental action.
